A mid winter's walk

I've been walking these streets for years ... isn't it funny the obvious things that you miss. What a cool building.

And then you happen upon a poor little creature ... I guess someone loves her :-)

THE CHALLENGE

Blessed is the man indeed
Who in his life can find
A purpose that will fill his days
And dreams to fill his mind

This world is filled with little men
Content with where they are
Not knowing joy that success can bring
Nor will go that far

Yet in this life there is a need
For men who lead the rest
To rise above the average life
By giving of their best

Would you be one who dares to try
When challenged by the task
To rise to heights you’ve never seen
Or is that too much to ask

This is your day, a world to win
Great dreams to achieve
Accept the challenge of your dreams
And in yourself believe

You’ll be proud of what you’ve done
When at the close of day
You look back on battles won
Content you came this way

WINNIE THE POOH QUOTE

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit.
"No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."

SYDNEY TOWN June 2008

Justine and I went to Sydney town for few days recently. Justine was there for a work conference, I was there purely for pleasure. The weather was average and the accommodation was definitely ho-hum. Excellent position and location, but their cost cutting measures were definitely Spartan. But despite that, a good time was had by all. Here are a few photos:

WINNIE THE POOH QUOTES

Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.
